Awarded Best Paper at BodyNets 2014

A paper I was a co-author on (Jiaqi Gong was lead author) was award best paper at this year’s ICST Internation Conference on Body Area Networks (BodyNets ’14) held in London, UK September 29th to October 1st . The paper, titled “Piecewise Linear Dynamical Model for Actions Clustering from Inertial Body Sensors with Considerations of Human Factors” described a technique based on linear dynamical systems models for segmenting inertial sensor data into sections related to the same action. This can be done on both coarse and fine timescales.
